I’m a licensed professional counselor and provisionally registered drama therapist who believes healing does not have to happen through words alone. I earned my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Drama Therapy from Lesley University, and I bring a creative, holistic approach to my work with clients.
My approach is humanistic, collaborative, and client-led. I believe you already have the insight and strengths needed to create change, and my role is to help you explore those resources at your own pace. I am trained in EMDR and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma, and I also draw from CBT, DBT, narrative therapy, and motivational interviewing. Alongside traditional talk therapy, I incorporate expressive approaches such as drama, art, music, and dance/movement for clients who want to explore their experiences beyond words. Humor and creativity are important parts of my work, and I believe that feeling comfortable enough to laugh, experiment, and be yourself can be an important part of building a strong therapeutic relationship.
I work with adults ages 18 and older who are navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, shame, guilt, chronic stress, discrimination, racial trauma, and gender identity. I have a particular interest in supporting high achievers and perfectionists who feel exhausted by the pressure to hold everything together. I also enjoy helping clients find a greater sense of stability and connection amid life’s uncertainties.
Whether you are working through a specific experience or simply feel that something needs to change, therapy can be a place to explore what is happening and discover new ways forward. My goal is to create a space where we can take the work seriously without losing sight of humor, creativity, and the importance of being fully human.
